Both finished Birkenstock-style cork sandals and our 22 semi-finished cork footbed SKUs rely on precision biomechanical compression molding. We blend natural oak cork granules with natural latex milk and vulcanize the mixture under controlled temperature and pressure between dual layers of natural jute fabric:
